I know technically in Japan its not longer his birthday but, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAICHAN! Still my favorite guy on this planet! I hope you got some great presents!!! I wish I could have sent you something this year but with the JLPT and working 12 hours a day...Not much has been happening.

I've decided that I'll allow one day a year for all the requesting possible.
I'll make it for Christmas. Its kinda my gift to everyone. Anyways. I've got stuff to do. I'm also looking into making a podcast so I hope I can help spread the fandom a little.

^_^;

FYI DA. You're not old...you're experienced!

Lala's list part 2!

Here I am again finishing off that list I told you about. So here we go!

5. Travel Coach Europe.
Ever travel to Europe? Ever wanted to? Don't really know where to go or how to speak the native language? This game is for you. Yes I know that Europe is not a country. Anyways, This game(s) have points of interest for various countries as well as some simple language pointers. You can click on various countries and find out facts such as the Turkish national sport is Oiled Wrestling or that the average Greek eats about 200kg of vegetables a year. There are some cute mini-games but be careful because even though I don't know Dutch I know that when I dropped the ball that was smashing the cheese a sassy Dutch girl yelled at me. And the English bloke who taunts you for missing your croquette shot can be annoying.
The games use the following countries.
Travel Coach Europe 1. Germany, Great Britain, France, Italy and Spain
Travel Coach Europe 2. Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Netherlands and Turkey
Travel Coach Europe 3. Germany, Great Britain, Poland, Russia, and the Czech Republic.

4. Let's Pilates!/Let's Yoga!
I'm not much into exercising but this game makes me almost want to. What's great about it is that it has slow animations that you can stop at points to help you learn the positions and how to do them. The explanations to the benefits of certain positions is also useful. However...its not very fun. Pretty much its an interactive book. I included both games because they both work the same games and I'll be honest I like Yoga better. ^_^;

3. Simple DS series.
While this series is only in Japan, it is the most extensive series and has the broadest range of games yet. It clocks in at over 40 games. The series teaches you everything from Majong to Chemistry. I can't even describe how this game series has covered all its bases. A few recommended you say? Simple DS 14. Japan's driving rules. Simple DS 5. How to play various card games. Simple DS 10. Kanji training. There are some that they say are "instructional games" but I don't think surviving a Zombie crisis is that big of an issue...

2. My _ Coach Series (Not the language ones)
My Weight Loss Coach, My Stop Smoking Coach, and My Fun Facts. To name a few. This series started off with the "My Word Coach" Which helped expand the English speaker's vocabulary. Now its gotten very wide. From helping people quit smoking to training your dog with "My Dog Obedience Training Coach with Ceasar Milan" I REALLY wish I was making that one up... I digress anyways, The game usually gives you basic lessons and ways to track your progress. Each game offers different systems. I am bothered that there isn't any consistence between the games but it doesn't change the fact that this is a useful series.

1. My _ Coach Series (Language Games)
Now I know that technically this is part of the above series but it has one major difference...Consistency. Each one of the language games follows a pattern that hasn't changed. They each have the same structure for learning a language. You are given an aptitude test in the beginning and from there you go on to lessons. For each language the lessons are structured the same and one person that switches languages would easily be able to use the software. This series is so popular that it has been translated into other languages such as German, French and Spanish. Heck even the Netherlands and Italy (Which has a combined library equal to that of the release of DS games in Japan in a week) use the series. So all in all...I'd say it must be a pretty good series if it get that much attention. For the English Speaking people here are the languages available for you to learn.
My French Coach, My Spanish Coach, My Chinese Coach, and My Japanese Coach

Well all that's it for this list. Next list...Is my top 10 scariest games. See you next round!

~Lala~

Huraah for college visits!

So I might be visiting Oregon again for a few college visits. I REALLY want to go to a university (NOT UNLV) and make something of myself. I'm thinking of changing my major to Linguistics and minoring in Japanese. I might double major as well. I haven't decided. I've been studying my butt off for the JLPT. Only a month left. I need to buckle down. I've been too lax. I only have a month to master like 100 kanji ;_;. I MUST DO IT!

next part of the list to come soon

Its been a super busy weekend. I really want a weekend where I do absolutely nothing. Saturday was suppose to be my day off but I ended up doing a bunch of stuff for my parents and Sunday (while it was really fun) I ended up exhausting myself and fell asleep at the wheel again. (Like the fourth time its happened) Luckily nothing happened. I ended up just pulling over for a few minutes and walked around my car to help wake me up. I eventually made it back and crawled into bed.

I am so excited to see people excited about re-sync style! I miss the web page and have always enjoyed doing it. I also get excited when people get excited about the fandom. My little fangirl heart bursts with pride!!!
I'll be getting back to everyone soon!!!

As for the last part of the "most useful DS games" list I'll put it up tonight. I've been really busy. ;_;

I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

~Lala~

Another list

This week's list is about DS games still!

Lala's List: Top 10 most useful DS games (or series)

10: Fujinomori no Let's Tarot!
Everything you ever wanted to know about tarot is in this game. Unfortunately, this game is only in Japanese and will likely stay that way forever. You know our kids are too impressionable. We have to avoid our children getting a hold of such an inappropriate game. (ignore the game "Sprung: A dating game were everyone scores") That aside. This game has useful information about the cards. It tells you the meanings, the story behind the cards, how to read them in different spreads and even the history and life of tarot cards. (When you purchase this game you even get a little tarot deck in the box)

09: Kanji sono mama rakubikijiten
A dictionary plain and simple. This game is a Japanese/English dictionary. You can type words in manually or draw the characters in and it will give you a translation via 7 different dictionaries. Its saved my ass a few times. The biggest draw back is that it is definitely meant for Japanese users. Many words don't include the hiragana readings and you are left with a kanji you don't know how to read but know that it means "spleen"

08: Nazotte oboeru, otona no kanji renshu
If you know what the kanji kentei or the JLPT are then this game is meant for you! Its a kanji drill game. It drills you on the writting, the on-yomi, and the kun-yomi of a kanji.
There are two versions and the newest version has added some great features. Including a customizable drill chart for the kanji don't know and some fun mini-games to help you not want to shove a rusty pen knife in your eye and give up on Japanese.
The game does lean towards the kanji kentei set but its still useful for JLPT learners. If none of those words make sense then....skip over this game.

07: Shaberu! DS ryouri navi (AKA Personal Trainner Cooking)
The first game on the list to have a world wide release.
The US release of this game is actually the second game in a series. The first game was almost completely Japanese foods. There is even a third game in the series that is dedicated to only desserts. For those who haven't played this game. It gives you recipes and directions to cooking some of your favorite dishes. The US release features dishes from around the world. (WARNING THE ITALIAN MENU IS MANY DIFFERENT TYPES OF SPAGHETTI) Other than that its very...useful...not the funnest though.

06: Cooking Mama
WHOA WHOA WHOA! Cooking Mama!? How is that useful!? Well let me enlighten you. While the above game tells you how to cook a dish, cooking mama (although in a game format) lets you experience it without setting your kitchen on fire or hospital trips. It also give you tips on what to watch out for when cooking. Although its usefulness is hidden by some fun game play its still there.

The top five will be in the next post!

~Lala~

after three years

I finally vacuumed my room after three years. Why you ask did it take so long? The vacuum was broken. I took a look at it the other day. Turns out it wasn't broken...just dirty. So I spent three hours and a roll of paper towels to clean it. After that it worked like a charm. Then I realized my room was too cluttered to use the vac. So I had to organize things and clean up stuff and what not. So I finally got to clean the floor today (well most of it still a corner of crap that I haven't cleaned out yet.) I had to empty the catch three times. My room was a lot more dusty then I remember. My parents finally agreed that I can get a futon bed. After they watched the show about old mattresses. (Mind you the one I have is well....access (the group) is slightly older than this mattress.) I'm slowly whipping my room into shape. On top of all the other crap I have to do. OH SHIT I forgot to clean the sofa. *sigh* Mom'll be pissed when she gets home so I better go do it. LATERS

~Lala~

PS. OFFICIALLY I HAVE EXTRA ACCESS PAMPHLETS! MORE SOON.

*fanfare*

So its time for Lala's list!

Today's list is weird DS games I've come across.

5. Londonian Gothics ~Trials of a Lolita~
Meet Alice, she's your typical British Lolita girl. Except her father has been kidnapped and now she must brave the dangers of ... London... to find him. Along the way you find that based off of what style of clothing she's wearing, it grants her abilities like...shrinking to fit through cracks in walls or the ability to pull a bazooka out of no where and shoot the evil....Londonian dragon demons that are chasing her...
While not a bad game its just...weird.

4. Gundam Majong DS (either one)
Majong is not an "exciting" game. This attempt to give it characters and make it riveting doesn't work. This isn't the first or last attempt at this kind of amping up of majong but, does my space ship really need to explode because I lost a round of majong?

3. Touch de Manzai: Megami no etsubo DS
This is a game about training a manzai team. Don't know what manzai is? Go wiki it. Anyways. Now I know the DS wants to show you that any career can be learned with the DS but...this is a bit too weird.

2. Nippon Curling Kyoukai Kounin: Minna no Curling DS (AKA in the us "Curling DS")
Ok seriously...I have a hard enough time finding curling as a sport. I feel that if curling is a sport then Zamboni racing should be a sport. CAUSE THEY WORK THE SAME WAY. With that said, This game is WAY more entertaining than watching curling but still...didn't really need a game.

1. Bae Yong Joon to manabu kankokugo DS (Study with Bae Yong Joon: Korean)
Ok...this is it. BAE YONG JOON! LEAVE MY DS ALONE! While not really a game, its more of a learning tool. Its not actually useful. Its mostly for all the okusan who have nothing better to do after they finished watching Winter Sonata for the 20th time in a row. When he pops up to say the word...ITS CREEPY. I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU MORE.

END

I'll go with that.

Its another half hour until I can turn my light on.
Organization

So I'm trying to organize myself and get everything together. I'm trying to go through my access goods and get everything sorted. I have them spread all over the damn world. My room is a disaster. In other news. Once I get everything together I'm going to start selling extras. Pamphlets and misc. goods. The majority of my over stock is pamphlets. I have this stigma about them. I always buy extra. Don't know why but I think in my mind those are the most valuable goods. Gotta love pictures.

I'm going through old pamphlets and scanning pictures. I really want to make a calendar for next year. Desktop themes and what not. I started on it but because I'm not really good with graphics design (and my scanner is old and kinda blows) I gave up. I need to stick to my guns. If I actually FINISH projects I start then I wouldn't have such feelings of not accomplishing things.

I'll be honest, I'm good at thinking up ideas, not doing them. Its just hard for me to do things. I wanna blame the ADD but that's no excuse. I'm just using it as a crutch. With fan projects, I don't have the skills to do the things I want to do. I try hard but even so, it always ends up half-assed. When I can't do things correctly I get frustrated and give up. I wish I was talented.

Anyways enough with the self loathing, I have magazines I'm going to sell too! I picked up a few and in the process of cleaning found many extras. w00t. I hope this will help me pay off the phone bill and my insurance.

AV is next weekend, At least that is something for me to look forward to.

Am I trying too hard?

When I got back from Japanlands I decided I wanted to throw myself back into DA fandom. I wonder if its all for nothing though.

I love DA/access/Hiro to death but that doesn't mean everyone else does. I also have this feeling that they are underexposed. I've taken it on as my personal mission to try and expose them to the world (I.E. Interwebs) as much as possible.

Then there is the problem of Hiro.

I am fully well aware that the vast majority of people dislike him. Yea he's high pitched and yea he misses notes and forget lyrics but at the end of the day, He's still Daichan's favorite. That has to count for something. I think what attracts DA to Hiro is that sense of an unconditioned person. Hiro doesn't put on airs around Daichan. He is the only person on this planet that calls DA old and bald to his face...and has lived to tell about it. They rip on each other pretty hard but that's the way they do things.

This tour was amazing. It was by far the best access tour. (The second being blanc and rouge) The mixes were great, the set list was perfect, Hiro for the most part didn't fuck up (he forgot lyrics once) and he's learning how to actually sing. *laughs* The new songs are absolutely amazing. Aoi nami sent shivers down my spine. It could very well be the best song access has done. Fire pants is amazing too (NOTE: THE SONG DOESN'T HAVE A NAME AND I CALL IT FIRE PANTS) I really hope it will be the song for Gundam Unicorn. That would be SO AWESOME. They would get a lot of exposure. Watching DA try to do the Every Time You dance was amazing as well. Then Can-Dee Graffiti on the last day was hella cool too.

Oops my fangirl slipped out again. *tucks back in* Anyways the point is, to me access is magical. Those two have this chemistry that draws other people in. At least it drew me in and I feel like if other people see them, they'll feel it too. DAICHAN!!!! HIRO!!!! I'll make everyone learn about you even if it kills me!!!!!!

yea....fangirling too much sorry F-list ^_^;

So randomly the new content on DA net is called "DA tweets"

UUUUUMMMMMMM

Is it suppose to be like twitter or are they just fucking with me? That would be cool if DA did get a twitter.

Yea thats right. Moonshine Dance, Hung me for the distance, and hitomi no tsubasa. He played a few of his own songs and even did Love & Joy. It was pretty fucking awesome...so what about foreigners?

There were a shit load! We met a couple from Canada. We taught them Gaijin SMASH so they got pretty close. Then we met a two guys who were like DO YOU LIKE GUNDAM? THAT WAS PRETTY GOOD! There were so many LOLS

LOOK OUT DA YOU MIGHT HAVE SOME NEW FOREIGNER FANS!!!!!!

Your Lala Hiro made up quote for the day

Hiro: Listen bald bigfoot, You should look into having your legs waxed....then telling them to put it on your head. There is enough for two wigs.
DA: ..Do you remember what unemployment was like?
Hiro: As much as you remember what a full head of hair was like.

Hiro is a bigger jerk in my head

I went from Shin-Osaka to Sendai today. Its been a real strange day. Now I'm watching tranny porn on TV. Thanks Super Hotel for randomly having a free tranny porn channel....

I need to go explore Sendai and not watch porn...but I can't stop laughing.

Wait I think one of them is actually a chick..I know the two that have penises are not... LOL This is just too funny.

Oh right...going to go explore Sendai....

GUNDAM & ACCESS HAVE MY FANDOMS COLIDED?

I`m starting to believe the rumors that Unicorn`s song is going to be done by access. The evidence is piling up!

1. They haven`t told us the name of the new song.
2. DA is performing at the Gundam
3. The last video they talked a lot about Gundam
4. Unicorn is comming out in November

Takanori is probably crying at home right now. Huging his Zaku.

If its true that is.

Last Night.

So...DA and Hiro necked last night. Like really...and the camera was zoomed in on it. So we got to see Hiro placing little kisses all over DA`s neck. Then DA did the same thing and Hiro made this face like

"yea...so what?"

Then at the end Hiro got in to a propose position and offered DA the mic. The audience "ooohed" at Hiro as if he was actually proposing.

Hiro`s secret was a curry place. The lady at the curry place was funny. Her and Hiro taunted each other.

DA was so tired that Hiro drove. He layed down on a bench and Hiro was going to do something to him but stopped because a group of people walked by.
In the car they sang the Gundam song but DA screwed it up. Hiro then shouted MATILDA-SAAAAAAAN!!! This makes sense if you`ve seen orginal gundam. Anyways. That was the end of the driving date. DA was really tired. So we don`t know what the final video is going to be. At least I don`t maybe they said. I was exhausted but I moriagared my ass off.

Then I went to the club event and still moriagared my ass off. Techno "BAD" mix for the win. He`ll tell you once again who`s bad. I was so exhausted I don`t know how I got back to the hotel.

EIEN NO MICHEAL!!!!!!!
LOL

aoi nami

Aoi name has made me re-think access. I still can't believe it. The song touches me so much. Hearing it made me so proud to be an access fan. I know I get a lot of rap from people for liking an old group and not even a extremely popular one like Bz. but, they point of the matter is that for me I don't need to be over exposed to access. I mean sure I'd like to see them do more but, I also enjoy the fact that they are what they are. As any fan I want them to be more active but sadly DA is super busy. I'm straying but, my point is, no matter what access is amazing. I'll probably never stop liking them. >_< *sigh* I'm a horrible fan girl.

my calling in life

Apparently my calling in life is to re-educate Japanese people that access has indeed gotten back together. Everyone I talk to (with the exception of the fan at the super hotel) Is not aware they are back together. One person got really excited and said ``Do you know the web address? I want to look it up!`` So Japan...I`m here to tell you that yes access is back together and yes they are still doing concerts and yes they still fucking kick more ass then a room full of martial artists. SO TAKE THAT

FYI enjoying my time in a manga kissa
